Welcome to the NATS website. NATS provides air traffic control services to aircraft flying in UK airspace, and over the eastern part of the North Atlantic.
This year NATS expects to handle some 2.4 million flights carrying around 220 million passengers. Safety is NATS' first and foremost priority but we also aim to provide our service in an efficient and cost-effective way.
The environment is to play a greater part in the way NATS manages its operations. The company has become the first air traffic provider in the world to commit to reducing ATM carbon dioxide emissions by an average of 10% per flight by 2020.
