Board changes announced at NATS

National Air Traffic Services (NATS), announced today that Nigel Turner, bmi's Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from the boards of NATS (Holdings) Ltd, and other subsidiaries in the group, including NATS (En Route) plc, to concentrate on his responsibilities at the airline.

NATS' Chairman, Chris Gibson-Smith, said:" Nigel Turner took up his seat on the main NATS Board, and on the Boards of our operating subsidiaries in 2001, soon after our Public Private Partnership (PPP) was established.

"Since then, and particularly through the period when we successfully restructured NATS' finances, he has made a significant contribution to the Company. We wish him continued success."

Nigel Turner said: "I have enjoyed enormously my role at NATS but it has become apparent to me, given my duties at bmi, that I am unable to dedicate the time required. I wish NATS every success for the future."
