NATS has been named as one of the UK's top big companies in this year's Sunday Times survey of the 100 Best Companies to Work For.

This was the first time NATS has taken part in the survey, and achieved the ranking of 20th in the large companies category, alongside names like Goldman Sachs, Nationwide, American Express and O2. More than 300 companies entered the survey.

Paul Barron, Chief Executive, said:

"This is tremendous recognition for NATS and a strong statement to the wider world that NATS is a great company to be part of. We've come a long way and my congratulations go to everyone on this impressive achievement in our first year of participation in this research."

More than 50% of NATS staff responded to the surveys sent to a random selection of employees at the end of last year by the independent 'Best Companies' organisation which undertakes research for the Sunday Times. NATS scored particularly well in the sections 'My Team' and 'Fair Deal'. Full details, with a NATS profile, were published with the paper on 11 March.
