Course Aims:
To provide Engineering staff with an overview of the Plessey Watchman primary radar system.
Course Description:
This course is designed to provide Engineering staff with an overview of the Plessey Watchman primary radar system.
Training Objectives:
At the completion of the course, with the relevant documentation, the student will be able to:
- State the purpose of the Watchman primary Radar Installations
- Identify the major areas of the Watchman primary Radar Installation
- State the Operating Parameters of the systems e.g. Range, Turning rate, PRF etc
- State typical data paths on site and to equipment rooms
Course Pre-requisites:
An understanding of basic radar and plot extraction is recommended.
