Course Aims:
To provide Engineers with a basic knowledge and understanding of the principles used in Data Communications.
Course Description:
This two day course aims to provide Engineers with a basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of (and terminology used in) Data Communications, with a bias towards NATS systems.
At the end of the course the student will have an understanding of Data Transmission & Timing Principles, RS232 Interface Operation, Flow Control, Logical Channels & Time Slots, Protocols, Network Management and Local Area Networks."
