Course Aims:
To assess the competency of Depth B Engineers in preventative and corrective maintenance of the Normarc NM7000A/B. This check considers the engineers correct and appropriate use of test equipment and thier system knowledge.
Course Description:
Engineers are assessed on their ability to restore faulty equipment to a full working condition using appropriate preventative and corrective maintenance techniques and technical documentation.
Training Objectives:
On completion of the course, and with the aid of relevant documentation, the delegate will be able to:
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the Maintenance schedule
- Perform the planned and corrective maintenance and carry out any necessary unit alignment
- Operate and interrogate the RMM and produce factual information for the diagnosis of fault.
- Diagnose faults to board or module level and initiate the restoration of service by their replacement and/or adjustment including common areas in transmission and monitoring
- Demonstrate awareness of the necessary Electro-static precautions that need to be taken
Course Pre-requisites:
To have completed the Navia ILS course to TTR 2500 or ETTR AEXF0925
