Course Aims:
To provide Engineers with a knowledge and understanding of the Harmer and Simmons ER series of Chargers and Battery systems.
Course Description:
The aim of this course is to provide Air Traffic Engineers with a knowledge and understanding of the Harmer and Simmons ER series of Chargers and Battery systems.
It will enable them to perform the setting up of a Harmer and Simmons ER series charger, and is based on the +24 volt Standby Battery Cabinet used at Transmitter/Receiver sites.
Training Objectives:
On completion of this module, with the aid of relevant documentation the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the setting up of a Harmer and Simmons ER series battery Charger
- Demonstrate the setting up of the +24 Volt Standby Battery Power Supply
