Course Aims:
To provide an overview and basic understanding of Air Traffic Control Services and systems.
Course Description:
Introduces the basic concepts of Air Traffic Control, sufficient to build a picture of the issues involved in Air Traffic operations.
Training Objectives:
On completion of the course, and with the aid of relevant documentation, the delegate will be able to:-
- State the purpose of ATC
- Describe the effects of weather on ATC
- State the divisions and structure of airspace
- Describe Flight Planning & Flow Management
- State the various types of control
- Describe a range of equipment's used by ATC
- Describe the Military ATC Service
