The consultation on the N601 proposed extension to airspace closed on July 21. NATS has now published a Feedback Report based on the responses received.
The proposal affects airspace at a minimum of 11,500ft north-east of Bedford, rising to 19,500 above Sheffield. The general width of the proposed extension is 5 nautical miles. The consultation includes environmental and conservation groups, aviation stakeholders and county councils and unitary authorities representing communities beneath proposed changes to airspace up to 19,500ft.

The CAA has approved the Airspace Change Proposal for the N601 Extension and this is now due to be implemented on the night of March 11/12, 2009. The CAA approval notice can be seen at:
