Last year was the best on record for NATS, both operationally and financially.
We declared our second significant profit of £80.3m on £686.7m turnover, and paid a dividend to shareholders of £2.5m.
These results were delivered against growth in traffic of almost 6 per cent with NATS handling safely a new record level of 2.3 million flights. The average delay per flight was just 22 seconds, half the level in 2003/4.
This year we are working to maintain and improve again on that performance. We are never complacent about safety, service or the value we strive to give our customers.
